HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Finally the weekend is over…. the feeling is so good to chill with a glass of wine after dinner and think of nothing. It’s so relaxing that I started to get flashback on what has happen this week. “Did the week just ended?”. I have no idea how i did it but I did it!

This is one of the most hectic week especially the past 3 days. Beside the busy sewing lesson schedules, Halloween and Birthday parties lined up we are also packing ready to move.

The highlight of the week is our most anticipated parcel from Amazon didn’t arrive on time! Adding on to my loooong to-do list – Little S Halloween costume…….. Little Red Riding Hood!

Last mins creation… extremely glad that Spotlight is just a drove away, i popped by to get some red and white cotton lawn. Thank you Sandy for accommodating my last mins tulle request last friday. I also popped by to Spotlight to get white and red cotton lawn for the hood.

Imagine, i finished my sewing lesson at 3.30pm on Sat and the students left around 4pm. With my weeping eyes, I stare at the 2 pieces of fabric sitting on my table waiting to be cut and sew. Only 2 hours left to create the pattern, cut and see the hood. I tell myself. This need to happen! It’s her first Halloween, it has to be a memorable one! No one can stop me…. I wipe my tear dry and start constructing the pattern on my head and created the draft

By 6.18pm the hood is finally ready! Tada…… My very own “Princess” Version of Little Red Riding Hood! The most rewarding 4.5 hours in my life.

If I’m still in the corporate world, I would never be able to do any of these. With this week ending, I’m absolutely sure that I’ve made the right decision to stay home with Little S! No regret at all..

Being a mother is absolutely amazing! Even in the most fragile/hopeless moment , you will find the strength in you for your child!

Thank you for these wonderful experiences, Little S. Today I’ve discovered the inner me that I could never imagine just to give you the best!

Will post up the hood DIY tutorial soon! stay tune!
